The Data Vantage Software Engineering Team is hiring for an Agile Coach
We are looking for an exceptional Agile Coach adept at collaborating with a team of highly skilled engineers in a dynamic agile environment. The Agile Coach will be pivotal in optimizing our software development practices, advocating for agile methodologies, and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement. You will partner with various engineering teams to pinpoint areas for enhancement, apply best practices, and ensure the effective adoption of agile across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Coaching: Guide teams through the adoption and improvement of agile practices, helping them navigate challenges related to team dynamics and workflow.
- Individual Mentoring: Support the personal and professional growth of team members by providing coaching and mentorship.
- Leadership Development: Work with leadership to cultivate agile thinking and enhance leadership capabilities within the organization.
- Training and Facilitation: Develop and conduct training sessions on agile methodologies, and facilitate workshops, meetings, and team-building activities.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve agile processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions to optimize team performance.
- Best Practices Implementation: Establish and uphold agile best practices, ensuring they are tailored to the unique needs of our teams and projects.
- Collaborative Culture: Foster an environment of open communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among teams.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track the effectiveness of agile practices and identify areas for further improvement.
- Cultural Advocacy: Promote a culture of agility, adaptability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Team Lead working with agile software development teams, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
- Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC), or equivalent agile certifications.
- Agile Expertise: Proficiency in agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, with a proven track record of successful agile transformations.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and foster the adoption of agile practices at both team and organizational levels.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
- Passion for Growth: A genuine passion for helping teams and individuals achieve their full potential and thrive in an agile environment.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, promoting a collaborative and inclusive culture.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development tools and practices, including Jira, Confluence, and Stash, is highly desirable.
